Production Designer

Caitlyn Classey

Caitlyn is a Hudson Valley NY based actress, singer, and set designer. She graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a degree in Theater Arts, Film Studies, and Studio Arts. She has been performing in theater productions for most of her life, but in recent years has been shifting more of her focus into film. In 2022 she discovered the wacky and wonderful world of "art department" by chance during a film production when she was asked to work as the Art PA after originally being hired as an Office PA. It was a thrilling wild ride and she found herself feeling right at home with the art crew while bringing the world of the story to life. She then dove headfirst into the craft and, with hard work and intuition, moved up quickly from working as an Art PA to being hired as the Set Decorator or the Production Designer in a myriad of projects. One of her recent Production Designer credits was with You Might Rabbit Productions for their film Under The One-Time Sky. While being joyfully involved in set design, she is still fully involved with her passion for acting and singing. She recently made her "silver screen" debut in the world wide theatrical release of the film Smile 2 and is currently in the process of writing and producing her own music. Even while pursuing all three of these artistic outlets, she still makes sure to find time to let loose by hanging out with her chickens in her backyard with a cup of tea or going out dancing and doing karaoke with friends.
